Shoelaces
Shoelaces, of course, enjoy a shorter life than your beloved shoes. It is always handy to have a pair of laces lying around as back up, you never know when it might break. This usually happens with the aglet, the end of the lace, most of the time made of plastic, that breaks. It is also possible that the lace has been loosened and tightened so many times that the cotton has been worn out and eventually snaps. Or you might think your laces don’t look fresh anymore and should be replaced. However, we can provide you with some high-quality laces by Saphir made of 100% cotton in different sizes and colours. Voor 3-4 holes we advise you to order the 60 cm shoelaces, for 4 holes we advise you to order 75 cm. Shoelaces can be waxed or unwaxed. Waxed laces look a lot smoother and sleek, unwaxed laces are more flexible. We also offer some laces in orange, green, blue, white and red by The Shoe Care Shop for a more playful effect.

When you place the laces in your shoe be careful not to break the aglet by being too fast. When the aglet is broken, it will fall off soon and you will have to replace your shoelaces again, as a lace with broken aglet can look quite sloppy and the lace quickly tears apart. If you want your shoelaces to be placed in a new formation to also renew your shoe a little bit, there are lots of styles to be found online to try out something new. So, even though shoe laces seem to be quite an unimportant detail, always make sure you have some in stock to be able to replace yours when the time comes so you don’t have to hurry and order one online. Keep them in your shoe shine kit so you know where to find them and you are good to go!
