Cleaning leather
Cleaning the leather is the first and an essential step in the process of shoe treatment. Proper cleaning, means proper shoe care. The products applied after a good cleaning will be absorbed better and have a better result on the finish. Be sure to cleanse your shoes well.
Leather: The first step in the process of shoe treatment is cleaning your so much beloved shoes! This can be done in two ways:
- For a superficial clean use Saphir Lotion to quickly clean and nourish the leather.
- For a deeper clean and to remove old layers of cream and wax use Saphir Renomat or Saphir Saddle Soap.
Suede: Are your suede or nubuck shoes covered in dirt and stains or just in need of a cleaning treatment?
- Use Saphir Omninettoyant Cleaner to remove superficial dirt as well as stains.
- Still have some spots on your shoes that won’t disappear? Gently wipe away with a block of Saphir Gommadin stain-remover.
- Last but not least, brush your suede shoes with a Saphir Crêpe Brush.
